This page is going to be used to develop the vision statement.
Firstly, let's define what a vision statement is.
A vision statement is the view of the future state of the organization or department. It is an ideal picture of what the organization wants to become, as viewed by customers and employees. Vision statements, sometimes called "value propositions," are based on the values of the organization. They should inspire pride, commitment, and a sense of belonging, as well as stretch capabilities of the self-image of the organization.
A vision statement, typically created at a manager level and above, should answer the following questions:
What unites your organization with the rest of your company? To develop a vision, you need to understand clearly the vision of the overall organization and the competencies of your team.
I feel it's important for the Aneuch project to have a vision statement, and to live and die by it. Otherwise, it will likely die due to featuritis, disinterest, etc.
I'm thinking something along the lines of:
"Managing your content while staying out of your way as you create it."
No, that'll never work, and here's why... you have to start with why. Why was Aneuch created? Why do I continue to (slowly) work on it? Why would you want to use it? Start with why, and go from there.
